Week 7 NBA power rankings: 27. Indiana Pacers (9-16)

Rank last week: 22nd

Record this past week: 0-4

The Indiana Pacers are in an eternal state of moving between the high twenties and the low twenties on this list. The real issue they should be dealing with is why that is the case.

After an 0-4 week this past week, they now find themselves inching towards the bottom of the power rankings. Indiana needs to seriously consider blowing things up.

Week 7 NBA power rankings: 26. Houston Rockets (6-16)

Rank last week: 29th

Record this past week: 3-0

The longest win streak in the NBA currently belongs to the Houston Rockets. They began the season as the worst team in the league, but have been showing signs of life recently.

Ever since rumors came out that they could look to fire Stephen Silas, the team has been on fire. Christian Wood, Jae’Sean Tate, and Garrison Matthews have been leading the charge.

Week 7 NBA power rankings: 25. New Orleans Pelicans (7-18)

Rank last week: 25th

Record this past week: 2-1

The New Orleans Pelicans are finally looking like a competent NBA team again. Brandon Ingram and Jonas Valanciunas look great, and the rest of the team is following suit.

Their start to the season was horrific, but they have seriously begun to turn things around. However, the fact that Zion Williamson had another setback is definitely not ideal.
