Recently, Bleacher Report put out an article detailing who the most probably trade candidates are this season titled, “10 NBA Players likeliest to be traded next.”

The author, Greg Swartz, went on to list 10 NBA players who he feels could be dealt sooner rather than later. Not all ten are star-caliber players, but all have the potential to make an impact somewhere around the league.

With the NBA season in full swing, let’s take a look at some of these players and examine how impactful a trade could be. Which players on the list have the potential to make the biggest impact on a new team?

Unsurprisingly, Marvin Bagley III made the list at the number two spot. His time with the Sacramento Kings will, hopefully, be coming to an end soon.

Bagley liked Tweets talking about “freeing” him from Sacramento, and it’s safe to say the organization wasn’t too fond of that. He now finds himself on the outside looking in at the Kings’ rotation.

A trade would help him begin the next chapter of his career and could help the Kings add some depth, too. He’s not the only Kings player on the list, though.

Bagley’s teammate Buddy Hield was also a part of Blacher Report’s list. Hield has expressed the desire to leave Sacramento in the past, but he has yet to be traded.

Hield makes over $22 million dollars this year, so while trading him may not be easy, they could get a solid return for him. A Hield trade in the near future would not come as a surprise.

Looking outside of Sacramento, Terrence Ross of the Orlando Magic and Eric Gordon of the Houston Rockets also made the list. Both are in similar situations with their current teams.

Each player makes a decent chunk of change, but as veterans on rebuilding teams, a trade could be inevitable. It’s just about finding a team that is willing to match the salaries.

Outside of disgruntled All-Star Ben Simmons, the most intriguing player on Swartz’s list is Malik Beasley of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The reasoning behind placing him on this list is his significant dip in scoring.

Beasley averaged nearly 20 points per game as a starter last year but is only scoring around nine points this year off the bench. As the Timberwolves continue to struggle, they could look to shake things up.

A different rebuilding team could look to take a chance on Beasley and give Minnesota something valuable in return. They should be looking to win games at this point, so a quality veteran could be of help to them.
