The NBA season is about a month old and the standings are beginning to take shape. There are some clear lottery teams, as well as some clear contenders.

The Golden State Warriors are 11-1, while the Houston Rockets sit at 1-11. Every team is in a very different position at the moment and has decisions to make moving forward.

At the same time, there are some great players on some of the bad teams around the league. A lot of players who are playing for bad teams could be All-Stars if put in the right situation.

3 blockbuster NBA trades that would change the landscape of the league

This is where the NBA trade deadline comes into play. Star players can be traded and put in new situations while contending teams can take that next leap.

However, this always leaves the teams trading away their star player in a very tough situation. They need to find a deal that will see them get an equal, or close to equal, return for what they are giving up.

This is the tricky part of every trade. Both teams want to feel as though they are getting the better end of the deal, and that will usually only end up being the case for one of the two teams.

That’s the goal today – to find trades involving star players around the league that could work out for both sides. It’s not an easy task, but it should be very interesting to see what presents itself.

So, with all that in mind, what would these trades look like? What are blockbuster trades involving star players that would benefit both teams involved?
