Watching players swap teams in the NBA is one of the most exciting things about the league. When big names end up in new uniforms, it gives fans something to invest in.

NBA trades that could shake up the league this season

Trades happen every year, and while some years may not have blockbuster trades, each and every deal that gets completed is done for a purpose.

Not every trade is going to turn an NBA team into a title contender, but it could turn them into a playoff team. Maybe a team even wants to make a deal to improve their young talent.

The point is, NBA trades are a common occurrence in the league, and this year will be no different. There are inevitably going to be deals that get done, it’s just a matter of when.

So, with that in mind, we’re going to establish a weekly check-in. Based on how teams are performing, what players are on the block, and how players are playing, we’re going to draw up some realistic trades.

Every week there will be three new trades written out based on all of these factors. Most of them will be realistic, but it’s impossible to keep things realistic when dealing with the opinions of a lot of people.

So, starting with how everything has been playing out so far this season, what are 3 NBA trades that realistically could end up happening this year?
