LA Clippers offseason move No. 1: Guarantee Terance Mann.

In his second season with the Clippers, Terance Mann showed that he is going to be a good role player in this league. His averages in his rookie year were 2.4 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 8.8 minutes per game. He shot the ball at 46.8 percent from the floor, 35.0 percent from the perimeter, and 66.7 percent from the line.

He improved on these numbers significantly in his second season. He averaged 7.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 18.9 minutes per game. He even started 10 of the 67 games that he played for the season.

However, where Mann showed what he was capable of was in the playoffs. Leonard had gone out with injury a couple of games before and George needed someone else to help shoulder some of the scoring load. Mann put up 39 points on 15-of-21 shooting from the floor, including 7-of-10 from deep.

If the Clippers can get this level out of production for $1.7 million next season, then they have to guarantee his deal.  Mann has a team option worth $1.9 million in the 2022-23 season. If he can continue to develop the way that he has from his rookie to the sophomore season then he is going to be a key piece of the future of the franchise.
