NBA: 3 teams that should pursue Anthony Davis in free agency

Chicago Bulls
As long as Anthony Davis is in the league, fans of the Chicago Bulls will continue to hope the big man comes home to play for them. The forward could come in and make an immediate impact on the franchise, potentially elevating them to one of the premier contenders in the Eastern Conference.
Superficial or not, Davis has always been linked to the Bulls because he is indeed a Chicago native. Davis added fuel to the fire earlier this season when he got asked about potentially joining his hometown Chicago Bulls in his upcoming free agency, where he sparked hope in Chicago fans with a single quote.
"“Honestly, there’s nothing like playing at home. I don’t know. I mean, I am a free agent next year… but we will see. It’s a possibility.”"
Davis later assured that his comments got blown out of proportion, but still, for fans of Chicago, their optimism should be high. The last time the Bulls had a hometown hero running the show, they were atop the Eastern Conference and one of the league’s best teams led by Derrick Rose.
The 27-year-old could instantly transform Chicago into a top-heavy contender after their mediocre run the past few seasons. The Bulls have plenty of young talent in Zach LaVine, Coby White, and Lauri Markkanen, but adding a player of Anthony Davis’ stature is what they genuinely need to become an instant title contender.
Looking to take the next step and make some noise in the Eastern Conference, the Chicago Bulls going all-in to pursue Anthony Davis is a likely scenario.
