10 players you may have forgot played for the Detroit Pistons

Kwame Brown
Kwame Brown is well-known for a very unfortunate reason. Credited as one of the worst number one overall picks in NBA history, Brown never really had a chance to succeed. The hype of being drafted that high by Michael Jordan and the Washington Wizards right out of high school proved too much for him to overcome.
Bringing the center into the fold during the waning days of the Goin’ to Work era makes it harder to remember his place on the team. He started his time with the team during the season they traded away Chauncey Billups, a time most Motor City diehards would rather forget.
During the summer between his two seasons with the team, they landed Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva with massive contracts. He played for coaching luminaries Michael Curry and John Kuester. These are the beginning of the dark times that have led to no seasons with a winning record since then.
Kwame Brown had an overall disappointing career and his time in Detroit was rather forgettable. As stated above, not every player on this list is a star. Brown is a well-known name among most NBA fans so he makes this list for that alone. In terms of overall career accomplishments, however, he is likely the low-water mark for this group.
