Most Improved Player: Brandon Knight

Brandon Knight happened to be a late offseason addition to the squad after a deal with the Phoenix Suns that sent Ryan Anderson west. Returning from a torn ACL, not much is expected from the former All-Rookie member, but how quickly do people forget how talented he once was.

Over a career that’s spanned six seasons, Knight has averaged 15.2 points and 4.3 assists per game in 31.3 minutes a night.

Those are numbers that would help any squad, and hopefully similar production can be found playing under a coach considered the source for some of the game’s greatest reclamation projects.

Given how low his stock has fallen, there really isn’t anywhere for Knight to go but up, and while it’s unclear just how rusty he’ll be after a year away from the game, his sheer talent in a system built to pump up stats could propel the Kentucky product back into the NBA stratosphere.
