3. Average double figures in assists

During the 2016-17 season, the Wizards were clicking on all cylinders. At one point, the team had won 17 games in a row at home and pushed every opponent they faced in the East to the brink.

That season, they finished with nearly 50 victories (49-33) as the team finished fourth in the conference. All that seemed to fade away during the 2017-18 season and most of it begins with John Wall as the floor general.

Wall needs to get back to distributing to all his offensive weapons this upcoming season. Oddly, the veteran All-Star put up fewer assists per game in victories (9.1) than losses (10.2).

Those numbers are still well below the 10.7 assists per contest he produced during the 2016-17 campaign.

When healthy, Wall and Beal are one of the most dangerous backcourts in the NBA. With that being said, Wall needs to also be aware of the additional weapons they possess in Dwight Howard, Kelly Oubre and Otto Porter Jr.
