The Washington Wizards and John Wall were a mess by the time their season came to end in 2017-18. Here’s a look at three goals for him entering 2018-19.

John Wall had one of the more forgettable season’s of his NBA career with the Washington Wizards during the 2017-18 season. The Wizards finished with a 43-39 record, eighth in the Eastern Conference. The team finished with a 7-13 record in their final 20 games.

Wall spent much of the season nursing a knee injury which caused him to miss 41 games. As a result, the team lacked leadership on the court and it showed throughout the regular season. Washington finished with a 1-5 record in the final month of the season.

After their 4-2 series loss to the Toronto Raptors, it was apparent changes needed to be made.

Entering his ninth season in the NBA, Wall has built quite the resume for himself. He’s made the All-Star game in the past five seasons and earned third-team All-NBA honors for his play during the 2016-17 season.

Now, he’ll have a new veteran big man in Dwight Howard to work with as well as his backcourt mate Bradley Beal for 2018-19. He’s talked a good game all summer, with the season approaching, here’s a look at three goals for John Wall in 2018-19.
