The second of back-to-back selections, what are some options for the Philadelphia 76ers at the No. 39 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft?

The Process is progressing nicely for the Philadelphia 76ers. Led by former top picks Ben Simmons (No. 1 in 2016)  and Joel Embiid (No. 3 in 2014), the 76ers finished the 2017-18 season with a 52-30 record. That was their best finish since 2000-01, leading the team to its first playoff appearance in six years.

A byproduct of The Process is all of the assets the Sixers have secured in the NBA Draft. The team has at least one extra pick in each draft through 2021. At the same time, Philly hasn’t had less than three picks in a draft since 2011, even holding seven of them in 2014. The 76ers have six total selections in the 2018 NBA Draft, the most of any team. They will be picking at Nos. 10, 26, 38, 39, 56 and 60.

In addition to locking down a star free agent, the Sixers will spend the summer searching for a solid backup center and as many 3-and-D wings as they can get. At the No. 39 pick in the draft, there are plenty of prospects that fit those profiles.

However, with so many picks on their hands, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Sixers trade this pick away or use it for an international player that they can stash overseas for a year or two. Regardless of what they choose to do, here is a look at five prospects the Philadelphia 76ers could select with the No. 39 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
