4. Donte DiVincenzo, SG — Villanova

Can we really add two Villanova players back-to-back? I think we can… right? We’re going to do it anyway. By the end of the draft, the Sixers could end up with two Wildcats.

If you didn’t know much about Donte DiVincenzo before March Madness, you do now. In the championship game against the Michigan Wolverines, he went on a tear. He was a large reason they were able to win it all.

In 37 minutes of play, he went 10-of-15 from the field and 5-of-7 from 3. He scored 31 points and added five rebounds and three assists. He was a man on a mission and the scary thing was that he wasn’t even starting that game. He was the first non-starter to win Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four since 2013, when Luke Hancock of Louisville did it.

He played three seasons at Villanova and in that time he only improved. He averaged 13.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game last year. To go along with that, he was a sharpshooter from distance, shooting 40.1 percent from 3 on 5.3 attempts per game, not to mention 48.1 percent from the field overall.

Surprisingly he only shot 71.0 percent from the free throw line on 2.7 attempts per game, both of which will need to improve. DiVincenzo might never be a starter, but he’s going to be a good option scoring the ball.

He’s a little undersized, standing in at 6’5″ and weighing 205 pounds, but if he comes off the bench or finds ways to utilize that to the best of him, then it shouldn’t be an issue.
