5. Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors would be a near perfect fit for Kyle Korver. Their quick up-tempo offense and floor spacing are ideal for shooters like Korver. With his range and quick-release, he would instantly mesh with the Warriors’ offensive system. For all the deserved praise that it gets, next year’s bench may not have a consistent three-point threat.

While he would still need to make improvements, Korver’s defensive game would undoubtedly benefit from the established culture at Golden State. Conceivably, Korver would be one of the first players off the bench if Klay Thompson or Kevin Durant were to get into foul trouble. Even though he does not offer the same athleticism and versatility, Korver is able to provide quality minutes at that position.

The Golden State Warriors emphasize three-point shooting, quick possessions and floor-spacing.  All of these are an excellent match for Kyle Korver and his shooting abilities. Also, if the Warriors are able to sign Korver, they would be taking away a major asset from their biggest rival, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
