The Golden State Warriors could significantly boost their second unit’s ball-handling and scoring by signing Brandon Jennings. After a couple years of injuries and inconsistent play, Jennings was able to play in all but one regular season game in 2017. While his numbers over the last couple of years do not stand out, he has big-time scoring ability and has excellent court vision. On defense, Jennings is a quick defender who is capable of producing steals.

Warriors fans may remember the night that a then-rookie Brandon Jennings scored 55 points against a visiting Golden State team. While he may not have developed into a franchise player, Jennings possesses a skill-set that can still benefit teams. If he is able to remain healthy, he could be a major factor off the bench for the Warriors.

Jennings played well in the absence of Derrick Rose while he was on the New York Knicks last season. After being waived by the Knicks, Jennings signed with the Washington Wizards and appeared in every playoff game for them. He is still young and talented enough to revive his career and needs the right opportunity.  Perhaps Jennings could learn from the example Shaun Livingston has set while playing backup point guard for the Warriors.
