Who will be missed the most?

So who do I believe is more valuable to his team? The stats back up Curry and his ability to make this season so exhilarating for NBA fans alike. Nonetheless, I believe the Clippers will miss Paul on the court a lot more.

Paul covered a lot of the flaws the team had.

Curry had the luxury of leaning on a team that is well-rounded with players that complement each other. Draymond Green is the emotional leader and heart to get them going. Klay Thompson can get just as hot in a quarter than Curry can.

Shaun Livingston is a tremendous backup guard off the bench, while Andre Iguodala, who is like a Swiss army knife capable of guarding your best player, can score and get his teammates involved. Even with Curry out, many still pick them to go far in the playoffs. You can’t win 73 games without having major contributions from everyone on the team.

Besides Jamal Crawford, Paul is the only player that can seemingly get his own shot off the dribble. He is also an extension of head coach Doc Rivers, who looks to him to drive his team to victory as much as he does.

Many don’t even give them a chance to win the series against the Trail Blazers, particularly after Wednesday’s Game 5 loss at Staples Center that put them down 3-2 in the series.

Both teams are looking to keep their hopes alive during these NBA Playoffs. How each team will fare without them in the long run remains to be seen.
