Nos. 35-31

35. Adreian Payne — Suffice it to say that Adrian Payne has not panned out as the next Draymond Green. Despite hailing from the same school, Payne is averaging a meager 2.5 points in 9.4 minutes per game for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s shooting 37.6 percent from the floor and has played in 49 games so far this season.

34. Jordan Hamilton — Jordan Hamilton’s numbers with the New Orleans Pelicans have been vastly inflated because the team’s active roster looks like the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan, but Hamilton is making the most of his opportunity, averaging 11.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in seven appearances.

33. Quincy Acy — Why is Quincy Acy never mentioned in the “best beard in the NBA” discussion? These are the things that keep me up at night. In any case, Acy is averaging 4.8 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.2 minutes per game for the Sacramento Kings this year. He’s played in 55 games and is shooting 56.8 percent from the field.

32. Chris Johnson — Hardly anyone outside of Salt Lake City knows about Chris Johnson, but he’s actually gotten some decent run time for the Utah Jazz this season. The only problem is he doesn’t particularly stand out on the stat sheet, averaging 2.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game on 36.5 percent shooting.

31. James Ennis — James Ennis never paved his way in the rotation for the Miami Heat and his stay with the Memphis Grizzlies was short-lived, but in his five games since joining the New Orleans Pelicans, he’s averaging 12.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game on .455/.500/.733 shooting splits.
