4. Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns

It’s hard to ignore Booker’s recent production. Since he’s stepped into the starting lineup and seen consistent minutes Booker has been flat-out sensational at scoring and shooting from distance.

On the year Booker is averaging 18.7 points per 40 minutes with a true shooting percentage of 58 percent. Those numbers fully validate the Klay Thompson comparisons that came out before the draft.

He’s been more than just a spot-up shooter though. Booker has looked comfortable driving to the basket and making plays for others when necessary. As long as he continues to improve on defense both on and off the ball, he has a bright future as a two-way All-Star in the Western Conference.

Look for the Suns to actively use Booker in more pick-and-roll possessions to test his ball-handling and decision-making and improve him in those two areas moving forward. Phoenix already knows they have the best young talent in terms of catch-and-shoot threes but now it’s time to see just how good Booker really is on offense.
