Kobe Bryant

Although Father Time is catching up to Bryant this season, he is still an all-time legend in the NBA. Before injuries and age caught up with him, he was able to put up incredible statistics on a nightly basis, and gives Durant and the Thunder all they can handle and then some every time they meet.

Bryant has dropped 40-plus on Durant on two occasions and won a majority of their games against each other.

Against Bryant, KD has had a losing record during the regular season, but has one more win than Bryant in the playoffs. Overall, the matchup goes 19-14 in favor of Kobe. Durant has averaged 26.9 points, 3.3 assists and 6.7 rebounds in their 33 contests compared to Bryant’s 26.7 points, 5.1 assists and 4.8 rebounds.

When facing off against one of the best players the league has ever seen, Durant more than holds his own.

These two squared up in the 2012 Western Conference Semifinals and dueled back and forth with the Thunder ultimately coming out on top in the series. One of the highlights of this series took place in game three, where the two all-time great scorers combined for 67 points in a three-point Lakers win at home.
