Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. James Harden, Houston Rockets ($10,800) vs. Washington Wizards
  2. Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($7,400) vs. Houston Rockets
  3. Wesley Matthews, Dallas Mavericks ($5,400) vs. Atlanta Hawks
  4. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Detroit Pistons ($5,200) vs. Memphis Grizzlies (tired team)

Rationale:

  • The Wizards are sixth worst vs. SGs over their last 10 games and the Rockets are in the bottom third overall. The Beard averaged 28.5 PPG vs. Washington last season (just above his 27.4 PPG overall) and he is better on the back end of two-game sets, so he gets the top spot over the Real Deal in a game that should be high scoring (214.5 o/u).
  • The Hawks are second-most generous to off-guards on FanDuel in their last five games and Matthews canned 10 three-pointers against the Wizards on Saturday, so I guess you could say he’s heating up.
  • KCP benefits from the fatigue factor, and Memphis is bottom third against SGs over their past five games. In addition, he has fallen below the 24-fantasy point mark just once in his last four contests.
