Previous: . New York Knicks. 29. team. 27. It’s been a rough year for the New York Knicks. Only Carmelo Anthony, Jose Calderon, Langston Galloway and Tim Hardaway Jr. are under contract through 2015-16, and both ‘Melo and Calderon have missed large chunks of the season due to injury. Alexey Shved was emerging as the player whom the Knicks must re-sign, but even he fell victim to the injury bug. Thus, the Knicks have essentially gone through 2014-15 without developing much talent for the future. That’s an uncomfortable position to be in. Fortunately, New York enters the offseason with mountains of cap space and a potential Top 5 draft pick. That creates significantly more promise. The question is, how far can the Knicks take this opportunity to improve?. (17-65)
