team. 93. The Philadelphia 76ers have lost nine consecutive games. For some teams, this would be a shocking and disappointing stretch of basketball. For the Sixers, it’s to be expected. Sam Hinkie has executed his best tank job yet, thus giving Philadelphia yet another projected Top 5 pick. That should amount to something big. Currently on the roster, both Robert Covington and Nerlens Noel are providing high-caliber minutes with a promising set of skills. Noel, 21, has emerged as a genuine defensive anchor, controlling the paint and protecting the rim at a level that’s already borderline elite. Covington, 24, is one of the best shooters in the NBA. He’s converting at rates of 37.8 percent from beyond the arc and 81.6 percent from the charity stripe with 165 3-point field goals made in 69 games played. The question is, will Philadelphia ever commit to its personnel?. (18-64). Previous: . Philadelphia 76ers. 30
