2. He’s Seasoned

One of the things that we’ve learned from the Elijah Millsap signing is that he’s one of the Jazz most mature players. Millsap might not have the NBA experience as his teammates but he’s still a seasoned player.

When Millsap was playing for the Bakersfield Jam in the NBA Developmental League, he had an excellent season averaging 20.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.2 assits and 2.1 steals in 19 games.

Furthermore when Millsap was playing in the D-League, he had one triple-double, he scored in double figures 18 times, and he had 12 games where he scored 20 points or more.

The Jazz have one of the youngest rosters in the NBA and adding Millsap to their team is a good move. At the age of 27, Millsap has already come into the league developed, so he won’t be as tentative as rookie point guard Dante Exum, and he won’t play with a lack of confidence at times like point guard, Trey Burke.

*On another note: Thankfully Burke has been playing pretty well as of late.*

At his age, Millsap understands his game and is going to come into the game and do what’s best for the team.
