1. He’s Coachable

One of the things that we’ve learned while Elijah Millsap has played with the Utah Jazz is that he’s one of the players on the roster who is willing to learn and is coachable. Don’t underestimate the ability of a player who’s willing to learn.

Millsap in his short time looks like he’s on the favorable side of coach Quin Snyder because of the way that he plays basketball. Millsap understand that he needs to become the spark plug off of the bench for the Jazz and he’s thrived in the role already. As he keeps learning and playing better the Jazz are going to reap the benefits of his game.

In an interview with Jody Genessy, Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder said this about Millsap:

"“He’s played hard defensively. I think he’s taken the right shots. We need him, when he’s open, to knock down a jump shot,” Snyder said. “More than anything, it just gives us some competitiveness and some energy, which we like.”"
