5 Things We Learned About Elijah’s Millsap Game
The Utah Jazz had a bit of good news this week when they agreed to a second 10-day contract with their shooting guard Elijah Millsap. When Millsap was first signed by the Jazz he played in five games and had a lot of productivity averaging 5.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game while playing 24 minutes per game.
The Jazz need Millsap as much as Millsap needs the Jazz because he brings them a lot as a basketball player. Millsap brings experience, intelligence, and a mature voice inside of the locker room, all of which are elements the Jazz need on their team.
Having someone on the roster who’s had to work hard for his spot is never a bad thing and the Jazz being so young, often times need a reminder that it’s OK to work even harder.
Millsap, who wasn’t selected in the 2010 NBA Draft after playing at UAB from 2008-10, has had to fight and claw for his opportunity to get into the league and now that he’s here his presence has helped the Jazz.
Here’s what we’ve learned during his stint with the Jazz.
