Dec. 28, 2007 — Orlando Magic at Miami Heat

48 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists in 52 minutes

The Heat fell to the Magic 121-114 on Dec. 28, 2007, but not to the fault of Wade.

The three-time champion scored 48 points in remarkably efficient fashion. Wade has scored at least 40 points 39 times in his career, but never did he reach said mark with a better shooting percentage than the 76.2 clip (16-for-21 from the field) he posted against Orlando.

Also, in typical Wade fashion, he got to the line with ease and converted 16 free throws on 23 attempts.

Furthermore, he added 11 assists, seven rebounds, three steals and three blocks to round out an elite all-around performance.

Wade did just about all he could to lead Miami to a win, with 20 of his points coming in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately for the Heat, Dwight Howard‘s 29-point and 21-rebound performance helped Orlando claim the victory.
