Aggression

Burton is a passionate player on the court, and his first instinct always seems to be attack. Burton likes the ball in his hands, yet he’s not really a creator. More often than not, the 23-year-old’s goal is to find a path through the paint to try and finish inside. Burton is adept at finishing with either hand, and for a guy of his size, he seems completely unafraid of contact.

The Los Angeles native is a tremendous athlete, and that plays a significant part in allowing him to be aggressive. Burton is great at exploding past his defender, and can do so in isolation sets or in transition. His attacking nature also helps Burton to get to the line for more than his fair share of free throw attempts.
