Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have finally seemingly decided to rebuild this summer, though they might have been better served doing so earlier. Had they done so, they may have been able to move Zach LaVine instead of being stuck with his remaining 3-year contract and the $138 million owed to him and they could have likely gotten more for DeMar DeRozan.

DeRozan was signed and traded to the Sacramento Kings for a second-round pick. To their credit, they did trade Alex Caruso for Josh Giddey, who could play better in Chicago. They also drafted Matas Buzelis eleventh overall and he has star potential that he flashed in the NBA Summer League.

They, along with players such as Coby White, Patrick Williams, and Ayo Dosunmu, may play a bigger role on next season's Bulls, but they also have veterans such as LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and the returning Lonzo Ball. Those three players aren't likely to sway winning much but the Bulls should try to finish with one of the three worst records in the NBA and they may not be quite bad enough to do so on paper.

Then again, they could keep trying to move their vets to try and bottom out during the season and that could put them in the mix for the top pick.
