NBA Trades: 2 blockbuster Jaylen Brown trades to fix the Celtics – Philadelphia 76ers

76ers receive: Jaylen Brown, Dennis Schroder, Juancho Hernangomez

Celtics receive: Ben Simmons, Georges Niang, Shake Milton

The Celtics have two main issues – shooting and playmaking. This trade would help address both of those things, while also adding a perennial All-Star.

Ben Simmons would immediately become the team’s starting point guard. He’d be the best playmaker Jayson Tatum has ever played with, and in theory, would help improve their offense as a whole.

Meanwhile, they’d also get two quality pieces that could play rotational minutes for them. Georges Niang and Shake Milton are both solid NBA players.

Niang would be the better piece of the two, as he adds some much-needed shooting to the squad. He’s shooting just under 40 percent this season from deep.

Milton is having a down year from deep, but he’d replace Dennis Schroder’s minutes. He’s also proven to be a solid shooter in the past, so he could turn things around.

As for the 76ers, they’d get a young All-Star to pair alongside Joel Embiid – something Daryl Morey has been searching for since Simmons first stepped away from the team.

Jaylen Brown is the perfect perimeter threat for the 76ers, as he would take a ton of pressure off of Embiid. However, these two inter-divisional rivals may not want to make a trade like this.
