NBA Trades: 4 teams that should want Jaylen Brown – Boston Celtics

Although there is a lot of noise surrounding the two with the state the team is currently in, trading Brown seems very unrealistic. The Celtics should want Brown most of all.

As many analysts say, the Celtics are fortunate to have a duo like this with little to no holes and to have the playoff experience they have at such a young age.

On and off the court, their chemistry is only evolving, as is their all-around games.

"“It is not about should we break them up, it is about, ‘Can we construct a better team through a possible trade?'” Jeff Van Gundy said. “I think both are really good players, I think the season has been sort of screwed up with all this COVID and everybody is out. It is really hard to know if you are Brad Stevens and Ime what you truly have.”"

Van Gundy was not shy to describe how the idea could be open-ended based on some of the tension the Celtics have dealt with as well.

"“I just wish they seemed like they were not fighting each other, but fighting their true opponents,” he said. “Sometimes I think that they seem to be fighting, not even each other on the floor, but what they say after the game.”"

JVG continued to use examples, such as Marcus Smart calling out the team to the media or Brown dismissing Al Horford’s comments when he said that the team has to look in the mirror.

The Boston Celtics are more than grateful to have the two young franchise cornerstones, both of whom have shown glimpses of pure greatness. Now, it is time for them to make it work.

"“When you have two foundational young pillars like those two, it is exciting to build around them, continue to help them grow and reach their potential,” said Udoka. “The sky is the limit with those two, we are excited to work with them and continue to see them grow throughout their career.”"
