The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling mightily this season. They are currently under .500 and look like they could be fighting to reach the play-in by year’s end.

As of now, they are on a five-game losing streak. This is the first time LeBron James has lost five games in a row in his entire career so far.

Right now, Anthony Davis is out, but he hasn’t been particularly good this year. His jump shot is all out of whack, and he’s one of the worst shooters in the NBA, statistically speaking.

The team seriously needs to consider making changes, but since their three top players make so much money, there isn’t much room to work with around the margins.

This leaves them with a few options – playing the season out as is, trying to make minor moves using Talen Horton-Tucker and picks, or attempting to find a blockbuster trade.

That last, fairly unrealistic option, is the one we’re going to be focusing on. The player most people think is up for trade is Russell Westbrook, but his value is low due to his contract.

Would the Los Angeles Lakers ever consider trading away Anthony Davis? In short, no. He certainly won’t be traded. But that’s no fun. Why not cook up some Davis NBA trades that the Lakers could potentially pull off this season?

What are some NBA trades the Lakers could do to ship Davis off to another team? Who could they bring in to help LeBron James win another ring?
