Trades are a key part of every NBA season, and NBA trade rumors run rampant every year. So far, this season has been no different on that side of things.

A lot of players have found themselves firmly placed in NBA trade rumors, whether through their own doing or not. These players are, in all likelihood, the next players to be traded in the NBA.

Not all of the players involved in NBA trade rumors are All-Stars, but some of them are. What teams will these players end up getting dealt to?

Let’s take a look at the best possible (yet still somewhat realistic) trade for each of the league’s most talked-about trade candidates. How good would it be for the team trading the player, the team getting the player, and the player himself?

Realistic NBA trades based on the latest NBA rumors: Ben Simmons trade to the Portland Trail Blazers

76ers receive: CJ McCollum, Future First-Round Pick

Trail Blazers receive: Ben Simmons

This trade has been thrown around about a billion times

, but it makes complete sense. Ben Simmons would definitely help Portland out a ton on the defensive side of the ball.

Simmons is the player who has been thrown around in NBA trade rumors the most recently. This trade for CJ McCollum makes sense for both sides.

Philadelphia would get an All-Star-caliber player to help them compete right now, while Portland would shake things up and improve on the defensive end.

Trail Blazers fans might not like this idea as much because McCollum has been their best player this year, but Damian Lillard will inevitably turn it around. With that in mind, having a defensive stopped alongside him could be the best course of action.
