Week 4 NBA Power Rankings: 30. New Orleans Pelicans (2-12)

29. team. 69. . 2-12. Previous: 29th. New Orleans Pelicans

Last week: (1-3) – @ DAL (L), vs. OKC (L), vs. BKN (L), vs. MEM (W)

Offensive rating: 103.9 (25th in NBA)

Defensive rating: 113.0 (29th in NBA)

The New Orleans Pelicans continue to disappoint amidst a season of struggles. They have looked absolutely horrendous without the aid of Zion Williamson

Even without Williamson, they have no business losing this many games. They have a decent amount of talent on the roster, and Jons Valanciunas is looking like an All-Star.

They are still the worst defensive team in the league and are one of the top-five worst offenses as well. Everything going on in New Orleans is a mess at the moment.

After the first few weeks, there was a chance that they could turn it around. However, at this point, there is little to look forward to this year in New Orleans.

Season outlook: With the number of teams overachieving this year, the Pelicans have little to no chance of reaching the postseason. Williamson is still out, and unless something drastic happens, this team is going to be fighting for a top-five pick in the NBA Draft. An absolute disaster of a season for New Orleans.
