Boston Celtics: Predicting statistical leaders in each major category

The Boston Celtics are coming into the season as one of the most interesting teams in the NBA this season. They are coming off of a rough run last season in which they were knocked out of the playoffs in the first round by the Brooklyn Nets in a gentleman’s sweep.
Many are predicting that the Celtics may even miss the playoffs this year, however, when looking at the Celtics roster, it is very hard to believe that if they can stay healthy they will miss the postseason.
The Boston Celtics are coming into the season with one of the most versatile rosters in the league. We predict each major statistical leader.
Boston has a very versatile and deep team this season. There is a lot of young talent on this team. It is likely that we still have not seen the true peaks of players like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown up to this point. If they are able to come into this season even better than they were last year, they may end up being one of the top duos in the Eastern Conference this season.
The Celtics have a lot of players that are very talented in multiple facets of the game. As a result of this, there is a constant fight between the team to top the leaderboards in major statistical categories.
While this is something that players on the team do not lose sleep over, it is still very interesting to look at and predict who will step up and lead their team in certain statistical categories.
The five categories that will be covered in this article are points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks.
