Miami Heat offseason roster move No. 3: Sign Duncan Robinson if the price is right.

One of the reasons the Heat struggled in their playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks was that they had too many one-way players. Duncan Robinson is one of those but he is more crucial to the Heat than the others.

The reason for this is that Robinson is one of the better 3-point shooters ever to set foot on the court, ever. When he gets his feet under him, there is little doubt that the shot is going in, well that is how it feels anyway.

Duncan has gone on many solo scoring runs which have had the impact of taking the game away from the opposition. He also spaces the floor so well for Butler to be able to create, either for himself, a teammate, or for Robinson who will always be ready to shoot from the perimeter.

However, it is always going to be a question of price. Looking around the NBA, it seems that a reasonable price for a 3-point shooter of Robinson’s caliber is around $18 million per season. The Washington Wizards paid Davis Bertans an average of $16 million for five years last season and Robinson is a better shooter. He could be a sign and trade if the Heat manage to land Ingram
