Game 4 of the 2021 NBA Finals did not disappoint as the Milwaukee Bucks overcame a late deficit to rally toward a thrilling 109-103 comeback victory over the Phoenix Suns to tie up the series 2-2. In what was the most electrifying game of the Finals yet, there were many intriguing aspects to digest.

After trailing for the majority of the game, these resilient Bucks proved once again to never count them out. Similar to Game 3, their resiliency to bounce back under pressure was on full display and has allowed them to defend home court in this series thus far.

The Suns let this one slip away and missed a massive opportunity to take a 3-1 series lead. Now, they will head back to Phoenix back to square one with momentum on the opposite side.

As the Milwaukee Bucks steal Game 4 of the NBA Finals to even up the series 2-2, let’s dive into three takeaways from the exhilarating contest.

Despite Milwaukee shooting 40.2 percent from the field and 24.1 percent from 3-point land, they were able to prevail behind an inspiring fourth-quarter surge led by Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the two superheroes that have stayed true to the Bucks together since 2013.

Middleton’s clutch shot-making abilities and Antetokounmpo’s heroic playmaking stole the show in the end, which was truly an impressive sight to see on the NBA’s brightest stage. It wasn’t a complete performance from the Bucks as a team, but they have become accustomed to winning ugly during this postseason run and they’ll happily take it since a win is a win.

Phoenix shot over 50.0 percent from the floor and over 30.0 percent from beyond the arc while rising superstar Devin Booker recorded a legendary effort but still came out on the losing end. Head coach Monty Williams’ squad made some uncanny mistakes down the stretch that they’ll need to address moving forward.

It was an all-time classic battle throughout Game 4 of these NBA Finals, so let’s dive into three takeaways from the fourth duel of this title-contending matchup between the Suns and Bucks.
