Ranking NBA Draft classes from 1995-2020: 23. 2019

Much like 2020, it is far too early to really judge the 2019 class. Zion Williamson has already made an All-Star game and should be a title-worthy talent if he is able to stay healthy (and the franchise can build a competent team). In just his second season, Williamson averaged 27.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game while shooting 61.1 percent from the field.

Ja Morant was the driving force to the Memphis Grizzlies playoff and was fantastic once he got there. RJ Barrett and Darius Garland both made major strides this season, improving the overall stock of this draft.

Tyler Herro was fantastic in the playoffs a year ago. While he suffered for most of this season that could be connected to the shortest turnaround from Finals to the regular season in NBA history. If he can be like the player who tore through the Eastern Conference playoffs, then he also could make an All-Star appearance in the future.

Kevin Porter Jr. and Jordan Poole are the swing talents for this class at the moment. When Porter is on the court, he looks like he could be one of the best players in this draft. He needs to figure out his off-court issues to put it all together, but the talent is real. Poole took a leap this year and was the clear best young player on the Golden State Warriors roster.
