Ranking NBA Draft classes from 1995-2020: 22. 2015

The 2015 Draft looked to be on a much better track two years ago than they are today. Karl-Anthony Towns and Kristaps Porzingis looked like the two premier young big men in the league. D’Angelo Russell was blossoming into an All-Star on his second team. After two more seasons, the progress has mostly stalled for them.

Devin Booker is carrying the torch for this class now. The former 13th overall pick is making his first appearance in the Conference Finals and is one of the elite scoring options in the league today. Towns and Russell make an impressive paring and if they can finally be healthy at the same time next season they should be making steps forward together.

There is a lot to like in the rest of this draft class. Myles Turner is one of the best shot blockers in the league. Terry Rozier has turned into a scoring threat with the Charlotte Hornets. Norman Powell is about to get paid this summer after growing as a two-way player.

Rounding out the backend of the hits, Kelly Oubre Jr. has had moments before a mostly lost season this year. Montrezl Harrell was the Sixth Man of the Year a season ago. Cam Payne has come back from a stint overseas and become a core piece for the Phoenix Suns.
