Indiana Pacers: 3 goals for the final stretch of the season
Indiana Pacers goal No. 1: Come together as a franchise
The Pacers have the look of an organization that is coming apart at the seams. Recently rumors surfaced that if they did not make a decent playoff run that coach Nate Bjorkgren might not have the greatest job security in the coming offseason.

Then more rumors surfaced that Bjorkgren had issues with his communication around the franchise, especially with his players. As is the case with this sort of situation, more rumors came out that Bjorkgren had temper issues during his time in the G-League.
Where tensions boiled to the surface was when Goga Bitadze and assistant coach Greg Foster had a heated exchange with players and coaches having to keep Foster away from Bitadze. Foster was suspended for a game and Bitadze was fined for their roles in the exchange
Bjorkgren appeared to take responsibility for the franchises’ situation in a press conference. However, in a recent article by Sam Amico of fortyeightminutes.com both Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon want Bjorkgren fired.
When a team is close to a play-in tournament, they do not need all of this added distraction. They do not need all the negative noise around them.
