Minnesota Timberwolves: 3 goals for the rest of the NBA season
Minnesota Timberwolves goal No. 2: Chemistry
With all the different availabilities of their players, the Timberwolves have struggled to get a decent amount of court time as a unit. Towns had COVID-19 and the team has had so many games impacted by the health and safety protocols.

On top of that, the team has had the usual amount of injuries associated with an NBA season. D’Angelo Russell missed a large chunk of the season with an injury, which, as the first choice point guard at the start of the season, is not good for such a young team searching for their identity.
The Timberwolves will be hoping that a large portion of this group will stay with the team and develop with each other. That is going to make the pain that they have suffered over the last few years worthwhile. The time to start developing that chemistry is now.
If the players are able to treat this like the preseason they did not get last year, they will be able to know and understand how each other plays. With only Davis, Vanderbilt, and McLaughlin not guaranteed for next season, the Timberwolves have a level of roster security that will allow for the development of chemistry.
