. 38-11. Previous: 1st. Utah Jazz. 1. team. 118

Last Week: Beat Cleveland Cavaliers 114-75, Beat Memphis Grizzlies 111-107, Beat Chicago Bulls 113-106, Beat Orlando Magic 137-91

This Week: 4/5 at Dallas Mavericks, 4/7 at Phoenix Suns, 4/8 vs. Portland Trail Blazers, 4/10 vs. Sacramento Kings

While the rest of the league argues about who is the best team and where the MVP award should go the Utah Jazz just keep winning. Currently on a nine-game winning streak, the Jazz have seemingly forgotten how to lose and are the best statistical team in the league. Write them off because of the past all you want. Any team with this resume needs to be taken seriously.

The Jazz have a four-game lead on the next best record in the league. They boast the second-highest offensive rating in the league, a mere 0.2 points per 100 possessions behind the Brooklyn Nets. They also rank third in defensive rating, remaining the only team in the league to rank in the top five in both categories. They are third in the league in scoring, attempt the most 3-point shots and are second in 3-point percentage.

Simply put, the Utah Jazz are a juggernaut. If they had not flamed out in the bubble last season they would be talked about as a title favorite, especially if they remain one of the few teams in the league that does not suffer a major injury. Rudy Gobert may be the favorite for the Defensive Player of the Year award. Donovan Mitchell is a classic playoff performer. Sleep on the Jazz at your own peril as the last quarter of the season approaches.
