Anthony Davis’s rise and 7 other must-watch NBA stories
2. Zion Williamson Show 2.0 is upon us
The Zion Williamson Show is in its second year, and it is again expected to be a showcase of the talents of the newest star of the NBA. The highlight package of Zion last year saw the 19-year-old star pull from his Duke and high school days and transform into an NBA star for double-doubles.
In the games that he played after suffering an injury during preseason, The Williamson Show looked to be in full force and ready to play in the NBA. So, the highlight package this year is expected to be no different.
The Zion Show, now the Zion Show 2.0, will likely see him leading the young core in New Orleans to a playoff spot. He, along with the others, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball, are hopefully in New Orleans earning their contracts to compete for a playoff spot and help their superstar in his second year, which were big years for them also.
Having Zion as a teammate certainly helps. Williamson isn’t necessarily a showcase, but he is kinda, because many experts, fans, and analysts are getting a look at the future of the league while watching Williamson. How he fares against the other greats in his second year will matter this season, and even better if he can do it with his team and prove that he is a franchise, championship-oriented, future Hall of Famer.
