3. Dennis Schroder

Really, really not implying that Dennis Schoder will have a bad season with the Los Angeles Lakers. His acquisition presents LeBron with the chance to have someone else handle the basketball for once. These few moments of rest are extra useful to an aging LeBron now.

Honestly speaking, when compared to the 2019-20 version of Schoder we just witnessed, then yes, Dennis will struggle. In an Oklahoma City Thunder team where he attempted the most shots on the team, taking approximately one out of every six shots, his life is about to change a ton.

Schroder went head-to-head with his now teammate Montrezl Harrell for the 6th Man of the Year award last season, ultimately falling short in a narrow win in favor of the LA big man. Nevertheless, his 18.9 points per game on career-best shooting percentages were enough to get OKC into the playoffs.

The fact that the Los Angeles Lakers were able to hop on the Schroder show just for the price of Danny Green and a late first-round pick, shows how little the Thunder valued the German international. This is certainly not the case in Los Angeles, where he is perceived as a scoring Messiah.

Seeing Dennis put up similar kind of numbers in the season that follows would be an out-of-this-world phenomenon. Although still unknown whether Schroder will be used as a starter or not, head coach Frank Vogel sure has a scoring gem on his hands.
