26. Dallas Mavericks

These have gotten a lot of popularity but it just does not land as well for me. The idea is interesting. “Legacy is Everything” is meant to celebrate 40 years of the franchise and 10 years since their first championship. The gold and silver reflect on the Pegasus, one of the most famous statues in the city.

That being said, they are just okay. The intent is there but they are boring, plain and simple. They will not be as grating as some of the previous incarnations that people loved to hate. They are an improvement on that but not much else. At least Luka Doncic likes them as they are similar to a jersey he wore as a child.

25. Milwaukee Bucks

These might be the best Milwaukee Bucks City Edition jerseys yet, but the bar was alarmingly low. Given that, they are still one of the more disappointing additions to this year’s list. Giannis Antetokounmpo deserves to be in a great jersey. These are not that.

Based on the meaning of the word Milwaukee, the varying blues on the body are supposed to reflect the gathering place nearing the great lakes. They use three different shades of blue to signify the three rivers that cut through the city as well as Lake Michigan. The lore is cool but the look just falls short.
