Tyrese Haliburton is a standout talent with a lot of skill projected to go early in the draft.

Like Hayes, there are other sure standout talents in the draft. One of them is Tyrese Haliburton. He is a 6’5″ guard with a traditional shooting guard body who can do things on offense. Haliburton can shoot and provides a spark on offense.

There is uniqueness in his size, also. Being a 6’5″ point guard or shooting guard can work in his favor, as his offensive gift shines above the positions. His size and skill for a guard almost make you think he is a stretch, like Kevin Durant.

A lot of mock drafts have Haliburton going to the Hawks. The Hawks have Trae Young and John Collins. Also, Cam Reddish and De’Andre Hunter.

Haliburton would be a great fit with Trae Young in the backcourt, also allowing some flexibility with Reddish and Hunter to move up to their SF positions.

Like other teams, you’ll see that the Hawks have some stars and their pick shouldn’t waste time if they have any, but also their time shouldn’t be wasted on a strange pick. Strategy is key at this point in the draft.

Drafting Haliburton can only help the Hawks, but also there are other teams on the board that will take interest in this young star like the Knicks.
