Golden State Warriors A-grades

Andrew Wiggins – A-

Andrew Wiggins remains one of Golden State Warriors’ big question marks for next season in regards to his fit with Steph and Klay and role on the floor. He has also been linked to a number of trade rumors packaged with the second overall pick. In February, the Warriors acquired Wiggins in a trade for D’Angelo Russell.

Since then, he has played 12 games, averaging a team-leading 19.4 points, along with 3.6 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and more than a steal and block per game. Wiggins has shot 45.7 percent from the field and 33.9 percent from three which needs improvement if he is to take the pressure off of Steph and Klay.

Aside from Steph, Wiggins has gotten to the free throw line on average more times than any other player on the team but has only shot 67.2 percent from the line, one of the biggest holes in his game.

Marquese Chriss – A-

Marquese Chriss‘ potential that we saw this season is the key reason he secures a high spot on this list. Out of 59 games, Chriss averaged 9.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 0.7 steals, and over a block per game. His field goal percentage of 54.5 is very good. Although his numbers are not particularly impressive, Marquese Chriss was one of the only players with a positive impact on the court with both his offensive and defensive plus/minuses being 0 or above.

Eric Paschall – A

Eric Paschall has been a pleasant surprise for the Golden State Warriors. Paschall played 60 games this season, more than any other player. He averaged a good 14 points, 2.1 assists, and 4.6 rebounds. Eric proved his production on the field with a 52.6 efficient field goal percentage, which is right around league average.

On the defensive end, he is also very promising, something that the Golden State Warriors will definitely be on the lookout for. Especially considering the fact that Eric Paschall was only in his first year in the league, he played very well and deserves the highest grade on this list.
