2. Sign Bogdan Bogdanovic

As things currently stand with the Sacramento Kings there is a good chance that Bogdan Bogdanovic may the odd man out when it comes to good contract money. The Kings signed Harrison Barnes and Buddy Hield to long term deals in recent seasons.

On top of this, they have De’Aaron Fox, the team’s point guard coming off his rookie deal at the end of next season. They are going to want to pay him as he is one of the cornerstones of the franchise moving forward.

They have nine contracted players and already have $96 million on the books for next season. Add to this Bogdanovic is playing in the same position as Hield who the Kings have believed in since before they acquired him from the New Orleans Pelicans.

As mentioned earlier, the Hawks are going to have some good money they can use to lure this talented guard and he would be worth it. Bogdanovic averaged 13.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 28.2 minutes per game this season.

He would be a tremendous floor spacer, shooting 47.6 percent of his shots from deep. He has connected on 37.4 percent of them. Of his 1,142 3-point attempts in his three-year career, Bogdanovic has been assisted on 80.2 percent of them.

At 28, Bogdanovic is older than the core of the Hawks roster. However, he only has the rigors of three NBA seasons due to staying in Europe to play. This means he can bring some of his international experience to the team while growing with the core.
