LA Clippers: 3 keys to victory against the Dallas Mavericks

The LA Clippers’ whole theme during the lead up to the playoffs was playing as a team. If they are to be able to execute the two above things, that means that they would have played great overall as a unit.

To finish the series early, they need complete focus from all players. To stop Doncic. LA needs that complete focus also.

The best teams are able to fire on all cylinders as a team. LA has the depth to do that. They have made sure to acquire players that just do the fundamentals well. They play defense, dribble, shoot and pass. This series will be won by the Clippers but they do not only have to win but play well.

If they do not play well, big questions will be raised for down the road. A quick series ending means that everything was perfect, players will be rested and they will move on fast in a neutral site that challenges you mentally.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will have to play well of course. They are what the foundation is built upon. They have led the team by example. If all three keys are met by them, the rest will follow.
