Ability to shoot threes

Knowing the basics helps you excel. For the Clippers the basic art of shooting will help this team win plenty of games.

During the season the Clippers were just middle of the pack when it came to 3-pointers made. They were 18th in the category. In the three games though they made more threes than all three of the teams that they faced.

This is where the role players become so necessary. While the stars have the ball in their hands the role players have to find the open spot for spot-up threes. Players like Patrick Patterson, JaMychal Green, Amir Coffey and Rodney McGruder all were able to find open opportunities during the scrimmages and make threes.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are also good 3-point shooters. For a team with great chemistry, 3-point shooting will be a team effort. Setting players up for threes and those game-breaking 3-pointers from stars are all a part of building team chemistry.

The Clippers are not one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the league, but they are one of the best teams in terms of chemistry. That in turn helps them become able to set each other up for crucial 3-point shots.
