Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are the LA Clippers’ best players and they will lead this team to greatness if they are able to conquer more obstacles.

Basketball players are humans too. They go through problems and are faced with pressure at their place of business just like normal people do. How they handle that pressure goes a long way into determining who they are. The LA Clippers have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard who are among the top 10 players in the NBA.

That in turn has led to them becoming a title contender. Paul George is averaging 21.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game and Kawhi Leonard is averaging 26.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. These two forwards will try and achieve something that has not been done.

They will try and win a championship at a neutral site after a four-month hiatus. Don’t forget they have already played 64 games. The next couple of months will be tough to deal with. There will be plenty of obstacles to overcome just like there have been in the past and it will take a tough unit to make things work and win a title.

In virtual press conferences held this week from Disney, Kawhi Leonard said:

"“It’s not like a regular NBA season, nobody’s life is pretty much how they planned it to be at this point with the pandemic, so I mean, you take it for what it is,” Leonard said. “Everybody is happy that a championship will be crowned this year, and if that’s the 2020 championship, then we want it.”"

George said the following:

"“I felt our relationships within the team grew even more because everyone was contacting each other, everybody was staying in touch, making sure we were pushing each other to stay ready,” George said. “I think our communication, I think our chemistry has grown a lot. So, you know, I think because of that, because of the halt in the season, it really benefited for us.”"

The way the Clippers will make it will be working together to reach the common goal. In a climate like this, the game of basketball will truly be a team sport. The Clippers have seemed dedicated to reaching the overall goal and that has started with the head coach Doc Rivers.

The players have to play though and Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will run the show. If anybody can handle the challenge it will be these two players. All the All-Star games, All-NBA bids and playoff runs have led to this and they should be ready.
