2: Roy Hibbert (2013-14)

Season Stats: 10.8 points, 6.6 rebounds per game

Remember when Roy Hibbert was one of the key pieces on that Indiana Pacers squad that terrorized Lebron James, and then he completely faded off the radar? We sure do.

Roy Hibbert is a case of ‘He’s on a winning team, therefore he’s an All-Star’, even though he didn’t necessarily deserve it. His first All-Star appearance could be thrown up on this list, but we’re not here to hate. Hibbert was genuinely one of the best post players in the NBA at that point, with the ability to use his gigantic frame in the paint against other bigs. He was great for a few seasons, understandably.

But one of his final seasons as a genuine starter was the one where he’d earn an All-Star appearance. Now don’t get me wrong, Hibbert was playing decent basketball, but his PPG and his RPG were close to his career lowest.

He also got it over Andre Drummond, who was playing awesome basketball in only his second year in the league, and he was showing threats to possibly take over that top big man spot. Ironic considering our friend Hibbert was considered the same.

He’d have one more decent season after this, before getting traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Yes Lakers fans, don’t act like we didn’t forget Hibbert in Los Angeles. He’d never even have a sniff to where he once was, being out of the league in 2017.
